TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – After Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and Florida State University finalized their partnership last week, a new FSU Health sign has been raised over the TMH entrance display.
The new sign sits outside the city hospital at the corner of Magnolia Drive and Miccosukee Road.
The city approved the transfer of its TMH assets to FSU earlier this year. Now, FSU and TMH have completed their final set of agreements, including their operating and lease agreements. FSU President Richard McCullough said in a statement that the move was a “definitive step forward.”
TMH is expected to continue day-to-day operations under the FSU Health brand.
The local hospital is also managing the future Panama City Beach hospital, along with TMH’s clinical care locations and TMH Physicians Partners.
TMH said in a social post Wednesday that the new sign exemplifies a “visible milestone.”
