A North Bay Village Police officer was behind bars after she was accused of biting and scratching her boyfriend in Hialeah, authorities said.

Marcia Sangronis, 38, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, Miami-Dade jail records showed.

According to an arrest report, Hialeah officers had been flagged down by the victim, who said he had been dating Sangronis for around two years but told her he wanted to end things.

He said after he told her and tried to leave her home, she became upset and stood in the doorway to prevent him from leaving, the report said.

The man said Sangronis told him “you are not allowed to leave” and started to attack him, scratching him multiple times on his arms, face and back and biting him multiple times on his forearm, the report said.
