Disney Cruise Line used today’s livestream to give fans a firm debut date for the Disney Believe inaugural sailing. Wilson confirmed the ship will set sail on December 18th, 2027, which is just over 14 months away. Sailings will depart from Fort Lauderdale and last four or five nights.
Fort Lauderdale Sailings and Cruise Lengths
Disney Believe cruises will depart from Fort Lauderdale and last four or five nights. Those shorter sailings give families a way to experience the new ship without committing to a full week away from home.
We have not yet seen itineraries, ports of call, or a booking date for the ship. Expect updates here as Disney confirms each detail.
Where the Disney Believe Stands Today
In March, Disney revealed the Disney Believe’s name. Disney says the ship centers on promise and possibility, with stories from Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, Moana, and The Little Mermaid shaping its venues, entertainment, and design.
The ship is under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, and photos from a recent shipyard visit showed its funnel already in place. A December 18th, 2027 departure matches the late 2027 debut window Disney gave earlier.
