Earlier this year, a grand jury found that funds from a legal settlement involving Medicaid were improperly routed to the charity. Yesterday, a Florida appeals court ordered the grand jury report to be expunged entirely.

The Hillsborough School Board unanimously opposes to County Referendum 1
Referendum 1 would make the school superintendent an elected position. School board vice chair, Nadia Combs raised concerns about partisanship – and incompetence. If approved by 60% of voters in November, Hillsborough County would join 39 other school districts across Florida.
