More information released in Winter Haven bus crash

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced that no criminal charges will be filed following the bus crash in Winter Haven that killed a student and a driver. According to the Sherriff, the bus was in its lane and driving below the speed limit, when a Chevy Malibu hit its tire and derailed the bus. The footage showed that the crash happened within seconds, making it impossible for the drivers to get control over the jeep or bus. The crash killed the Jeep’s driver Deshawn Smith and Winter Haven student Adinaluz Guadalupe Prieto Oyola.
