Grab your Mickey ears! Disney Cruise Line has recently unveiled the newest ship to join its fleet, the Disney Believe, which sets sail from Fort Lauderdale next December.
It’s the fourth ship in Disney’s Wish class and will offer four- and five-night tropical escapes to the Bahamas and the Caribbean, perfect for quenching any local’s thirst for some Disney experiences without making the drive all the way to Orlando!
First-of-its-kind entertainment
Some of the ship’s main highlights include the world’s very first stage adaptation of Encanto, alongside Tangled: The Musical and a original Disney Seas the Adventure show. Head over to Gazelle, a Zootopia-inspired space that hosts a Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde mystery show by day and an adults-only lounge with silent discos by night.

Up on deck, attractions include the return of the AquaMouse water coaster, seven pools, a Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party and a Toy Story splash zone for the little ones.
The Grand Hall, which serves as the ship’s central hub, features a Moana theme complete with a bioluminescent carpet, a Te Fiti-inspired chandelier and statue of Moana herself! As for dining, the new Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast brings the world of Arendelle to life set in a Nordic courtyard.
Returning favorites like 1923 and the action-packed Worlds of Marvel are back, but the casual spots are just as exciting. You can grab Mediterranean bites at Pluto’s Pita Platters, sip specialty coffees at the Big Hero 6-themed Big Hero Sips or treat the family to gelato at the colorful Inside Out: Joyful Sweets.
Adult-only lounges and kids’ zones
Because Miami locals know how to do a vacation right, adult-exclusive venues on the Disney Believe are designed to impress. From craft cocktails at Sea Notes, an iridescent piano lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto, to a moody storybook setting at the Wishing Well, a gothic courtyard bar taking cues from Snow White, there’s no shortage of hangout spots. For craft brews and celestial vibes, the astronomy-themed Skygazers pub is also an option and the Haunted Mansion Parlor is making its spooky return.

If you want true luxury, escape to the Quiet Cove infinity pool or book a reservation at the adult-exclusive Palo Steakhouse or Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement.
While the adults relax, the kids can find spaces like Disney’s Oceaneer Club (ages 3-10), which boasts an exclusive Monsters, Inc. entrance leading into Marvel and Star Wars zones. Tweens and teens have their own dedicated spaces like Edge (11-13), Vibe (14-17) and The Hideaway.
From split-bath cabins to luxury suites
Rooms are designed with families in mind, featuring ample storage, split-bath concepts and artwork inspired by Moana, Coco and The Lion King.

Alongside standard rooms, Royal Suites are themed after The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, but if you really want to go all out, the Believe Tower Suite is a nearly 2,000-square-foot, two-story marvel built right into the ship’s forward funnel. Themed entirely around the Magic Kingdom, it sleeps up to eight guests and boasts floor-to-ceiling views of the open ocean.
The Disney Believe will embark on its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on December 18, 2027, making stops at Disney’s exclusive island destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
