Steven Wiley and Cheryl Ann Pyle were seen hurling racial slurs toward a door-to-door salesman last year.
It happened in July 2025 when Antavis Johnson told WESH 2 he was going door-to-door for work.
He said that at a particular home, the residents got aggressive with him and chased him off the property and down the block while hurling racial slurs.
The victim joined Worrell to speak about his experience and the incident’s impact.
“I want to say even though the case is over with, this case is not just words; I still have to live with this trauma,” Johnson said.
Johnson said he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Wiley and Pyle were not sentenced to jail time; instead, they were sentenced to probation.
