JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Rainfall is causing flooding in and around Jacksonville, forcing drivers to take detours and police to help push cars through flooded streets.

Around noon, a car was stuck in the water, and an officer pushed the car out of the water. Drivers in the area said they are trying to avoid flooded areas.
“Yeah, we’re good, we’re going back up because I don’t want to get stuck either,” the driver said.
Bob Killgore had advice for drivers.
“For people who are in small cars, I’d use caution and probably try to drive around, find another alternative route,” Killgore said.
