Man recovering after shooting in Tallahassee; woman in custody

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – One person is recovering after a shooting late Monday night on the 4000 block of Catawba Street, which is just off of Mission Road, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.

Officers were called to the area around 10:50 p.m. in reference to a reported shooting.

Police said the victim, a man, was shot in the facial region and was admitted to the hospital for treatment. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

A woman was taken into custody in connection with the shooting.

TPD said the incident appears to be isolated, and no other suspects are believed to be involved.
