LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. — Deputies arrested an 18-year-old woman for possession of a weapon on school property on Monday in Lauderdale Lakes, records show.

Broward County prosecutors filed a case against Jada Burrows on Tuesday after Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies’ arrest, records show.

Correctional deputies booked Burrows at the Broward County Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale, where she spent Monday night, records show.

Burrows was to appear in bond court on Tuesday. Broward County Circuit Judge Thomas J. Coleman is set to preside over the case, records show.
