On this Veterans Day, the Key Biscayne community comes together to honor the men and women, past and present, who have served in uniform.
Across the United States, more than 18 million Americans identify as veterans, representing about six percent of the adult population.
This morning at 9 a.m., the Richard L. Cromartie American Legion Post 374 invites everyone to a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Village Green by the Veterans Memorial flagpole.
The event is free and open to the public, offering an opportunity for island residents to show their gratitude and support.
As we gather, let us remember that service comes in many forms, from those who stood watch abroad to those who trained here at home. Their dedication safeguards our freedoms and sustains the spirit of our country.
We hope to see you there at the Village Green, thanking our heroes in community and in person.
