Drivers on Cape Coral Parkway should prepare for changes this week as nighttime milling and paving work resumes after weather delays last Thursday and Friday.

Crews will be working at night through October 16 as part of the six-lane improvement project.

By the end of the week, most of the paving is expected to be completed from Triton Court to nearly Del Prado Boulevard. At that point, three lanes in each direction are expected to be open for through traffic.

Parking will not be allowed on either side of the road, and temporary striping will be in place.

Drivers are advised to watch for posted signs, use caution, and follow the current traffic pattern while traveling through the area.
