TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A jury was selected Monday for a trial of two men charged with kidnapping and murdering a South Georgia man in Leon County back in 2023.
The trial for Rayvon Moten and Roy Senior could last up to two weeks, according to court documents.
Anthony Jenkins will now be tried separately at a later date.
Opening statements are set to begin Wednesday for Moten and Senior.

Jury selection came nearly three years after the body of Artez Moore, of Bainbridge, Georgia, was found near Carr Lake in Leon County in November 2023.

The Leon County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Moore was fatally shot.
WCTV obtained court records, including a probable cause affidavit filled out by LCSO investigators. That affidavit revealed that Moore was bound by zip ties, indicating he was held against his will before being murdered.
Leon County deputies first deemed Moore’s death suspicious after finding his body on the 400 block of Cedar Hill Road the morning of November 9, 2023.
The victim’s family told WCTV that Moore was visiting loved ones in Tallahassee at the time of his death.
