A crackdown coming for the Himmarshee Entertainment District in Ft Lauderdale following an increase in crime and underage drinking. Commissioner Steve Glassman represents the district and says they’re committed to turning the situation around. A mass shooting outside Dicey Riley’s in 2025 has already led to some changes, including the banning of open containers and street alcohol sales. Closing time is at 4 am. More ordinances are expected to be adopted later this month.
