Discounter Breeze Airways announced Tuesday the addition of three one-stop, no-change-of-plane service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to three northern destinations next spring.

The carrier said that travelers can now start booking flights to the following cities in Vermont, West Virginia and Upstate New York:

Burlington, Vt.: Thursdays and Sundays starting May 27.
Charleston, W.Va.: Wednesdays and Saturdays starting May 26.
Stewart-Newburgh, N.Y.: Mondays and Fridays starting May 28.

Breeze operates out of Terminal 1, Concourse A at the Broward County airport, where it held a market share of slightly more than 2% in August, according to the latest published statistics. As with other airlines, Breeze has been adding service at airports once served by the now defunct Spirit Airlines.

From Orlando International Airport, Breeze is planning trips to the following cities in Pennsylvania and Upstate New York:

Latrobe, PA.: Nonstops on Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning May 26.
Albany, N.Y.: One-stop flights on Mondays and Fridays beginning May 28.

“Every route we add to our network starts with the same question: where can Breeze’s direct service bring travelers a convenience they don’t already enjoy today?” said David Neeleman, the airline’s founder and CEO. “These new routes and destinations now bring Breeze’s high-value, low-cost service to these cities, making affordable travel to great destinations more convenient than ever.”

Breeze said it serves more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to 95 cities in the United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

The carrier is operating a new fleet of Airbus A220-300 jetliners, offering free family seating, fast onboard WiFi, and preferred seat options.
