Miami is home to some of the best museums and attractions around, many of which are worth revisiting each time they put out exciting new artwork. But paying them all a visit can get a little costly, so when an opportunity for free admission is announced, it can be quite a huge deal!
Luckily for us, Wynwood Walls and Rockstar Games (the developer behind Grand Theft Auto VI) have teamed up to offer residents the chance to see some of the best street art the city has to offer — including new murals — for absolutely no cost! Beginning today through 2028, locals with a valid photo ID showing a Miami-Dade County address will receive complimentary access to the museum.

Through the partnership, 10 brand-new murals are being unveiled across the neighborhood and within the Walls, blurring the lines between the real 305 and the virtual metropolis known as Vice City. The collaboration is quite fitting too, as the upcoming game will feature an area inspired by Wynwood Walls, dubbed Stockyard.

Produced by Goldman Global Arts, the murals are created by a lineup of urban contemporary artists, including hometown heroes like ATOMIK and Tatiana Suarez, as well as Askew One, DENIAL, FAILE, Gons and Audet, Lady AIKO, Queen Andrea, Ron English and Tristan Eaton. The murals will be up until January 1, 2027.

Alongside the new art, an exclusive capsule collection for GTA VI with 15 participating artists is currently available for pre-order at the Wynwood Walls Shop if you’re looking to rep Vice City.
How to get into Wynwood Walls for free
You can get your “Locals Pass” ahead of your visit by uploading a photo of your ID (which must have a Miami-Dade County address) on the Wynwood Walls website. You can add this digital membership card to your phone’s wallet and show it upon entry to enjoy free admission.
Children under 12 are always allowed into the open-air museum for free, and Dade County residents can add all family members under 18 to their digital membership. In addition to a standard photo ID, the website states that a valid student ID showing a Miami-Dade address is also acceptable.
