TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – It’s time for today’s something good!
More good news:
Today’s something good comes from the Tallahassee Fire Department.
Meet “Chief” Carter – a Leon County fifth grader who got to be TFD’s fire chief for a day.
He rode in on Engine 9, led a command staff meeting at the public safety complex, toured the traffic unit and dispatch and even stopped by City Hall.

Carter wrapped up with lunch at Station 3 and rode along on calls with firefighters – a day this young chief won’t forget.
