TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – How much longer will our cool mornings but hot afternoons continue?
Persistent high pressure at both low levels and upper levels will stick around for a few more days, which means comfortably cool mornings near 60, but hot and dry afternoons in the upper 80s to near 90. By Friday, a cold front will arrive with only a small chance for a stray shower, but it will bring us more clouds, more wind, and cooler afternoons by the weekend as highs drop into the 70s. Only stray showers will be possible through this weekend, with slightly better chances for isolated showers next week.
