TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Now-former Florida State freshman cornerback Chuck Kennon is behind bars in Hillsborough County on felony charges, according to court records.
WCTV obtained a criminal report affidavit for the FSU top 2026 signee Wednesday, just a day before his 19th birthday, the affidavit shows.
The court record revealed that Kennon turned himself in Monday and faces felony charges of false imprisonment and aggravated fleeing to elude. He also faces a first-degree misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence, according to the document.
Kennon appeared in court Wednesday morning, where a judge set a bond of $5,000 for the first count, $2,500 for the second count and $500 for the third count. He was also ordered no contact with the victim and to not leave Hillsborough County.
At this time, the details leading to his felony arrest are unknown.
