A Florida couple is lucky to be alive after a car crashed through a hair salon and slammed into them while they were standing at the checkout counter.
Security camera video captured the terrifying incident at Zinke Hair Studio in Jacksonville on Saturday.
Aubrey Simpson-Gotham and her husband, Stephan Simpson, said they had little time to react when they suddenly heard a loud crash and then saw a car barreling toward them.
Aubrey suffered head lacerations that required four stitches and had to be treated at the hospital for anxiety, while Stephan said his ribs continue to hurt after the crash.
The couple said it’s a miracle they survived.
The crash also caused extensive damage to the salon, and it remained closed on Monday while the owner assessed the damage.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
