Traffic Alert: Fiery multi-vehicle crash in Baldwin closes all lanes on I-10 west before mile marker 342

BALDWIN, Fla. – A fiery multi-vehicle crash involving a semitruck in Baldwin has closed all westbound lanes on I-10, just before mile marker 342.

The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department was responding to the crash around 3:15 p.m.

As of 4:00 p.m., all lanes and the ramp from US-301 remained closed as crews worked to remove the semi from the woodline.

Traffic cameras captured a jackknifed semitruck fully engulfed in flames, sending a thick plume of black smoke into the sky.

JFRD said two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Drivers should expect delays in the area.
