Clearwater Ferry Service returns to Dunedin

DUNEDIN — The Clearwater Ferry Service has resumed its route following a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 9 at the Dunedin Marina.

Ferry service was suspended after the landing was damaged during hurricanes Helene and Milton last year. Through an interlocal agreement, Clearwater marina staff constructed a temporary landing, allowing the ferry to resume service.

The ferry is operated by the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority in partnership with the city of Dunedin.

The Dunedin “Blue Line” schedule is Thursday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.. The boat will leave Dunedin Marina every two hours, so the last boat will leave at 6 p.m. First boat leaves at 10 a.m.

The route will go from Dunedin Marina, to downtown Clearwater, to Clearwater Beach, back to downtown Clearwater, then return to Dunedin.
