A Lafayette man faces a murder charge after police say he killed his live-in girlfriend, a death that came just a day before the community gathered for a candlelight vigil honoring victims of domestic violence. Larry Andrus, 42, was booked on a charge of second-degree murder after officers went to a home on Connie Circle near Cameron Street and found Eunice Faulk, 44, with serious injuries. She died after being taken to a local hospital.
