October 16, 2026 – The St. Petersburg Housing Authority, in partnership with Blue Sky Communities, has been awarded $7.4 million from the City of St. Petersburg for the construction of The Hartford Apartments. Additionally, the funds will be used to help renovate the existing Saratoga Apartments community. The Hartford Apartments, a new affordable housing development at Hartford Street N. and 32nd Avenue N., will have 75 apartment units.
