TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A former church youth director recently sentenced to prison for abusing a teenage boy will not stand trial for similar allegations by four other young men.
Terrance Booker was found guilty in July of sexual battery and lewd and lascivious conduct for repeatedly abusing a teenage boy. He was sentenced earlier this month to 55 years in prison for it and deemed a sexual predator.

Tuesday, the state dropped the remaining charges against Booker so the other victims would not have to testify in court again.
“Since these victims have already been forced to relive these experiences numerous times through their testimonies, the State will not force them to do so again,” Assistant State Attorney Sarah Dugan said.
“The State and victims feel that the sentence in this case satisfies the interest of justice,” Dugan said. “We are glad that this defendant will not have the opportunity to take advantage of any other child ever again.”
We have reached out to Booker’s defense attorney for comment.
