For the first time, UCF will welcome the No. 2 team in the nation as BYU visits Orlando to take on the Knights at Acrisure Bounce House Stadium this Saturday.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m., and Fox will broadcast the game.

BYU (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) moved up to the No. 2 spot in Sunday’s latest Associated Press top 25 poll after defeating No. 2 Notre Dame, 28-24, on Saturday night.

Five of the top seven ranked teams lost this weekend, including No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 5 Indiana, No. 6 Alabama and No. 7 Texas.

UCF (3-3, 1-2 Big 12) is coming off a bye week after dropping back-to-back road losses to ranked opponents, then-No. 20 Houston (27-17) and No. 18 Oklahoma State (42-28).

This is the second time the Knights have faced a No. 2 team. They previously lost at No. 2 Texas, 35-3 on Nov. 2, 2009.

It’s the first time UCF has hosted a top-5 team and the fourth time the program has hosted a top-10 team at the Bounce House: No. 7 Cincinnati (2020), No. 9 Miami (2009), and No. 6 Texas (2007).

The Knights are winless (0-6) against top 5 teams.
