Bonus: Cougs Care Food Drive Tailgate (UCF vs. BYU)
Before UCF’s homecoming game against BYU, fans from both schools are swapping the usual tailgate menu for a service project — bringing canned goods and hygiene items to help stock UCF’s Knights Helping Knights Pantry. Organizers say the last time BYU played in Orlando, fans donated about 2,000 pounds of food, and this year they’re coming back to do it again as part of the fan-led Cougs Care initiative. Cougs Care, is a fan-led service project initiative that partners with a local nonprofit in the opponent’s city at every BYU away game. Orlando is the third stop of the 2026 season. Last year, Cougs Care collected 76,500 lbs. of food, 15 times more than the year before, and participation doubled to 26,500 nationwide.
