ORLANDO, Fla. —
A motion has been filed to unseal the arrest affidavit for Dale Smith Jr., Michelle Parker’s ex-fiancé, who was arrested and accused of her murder.
He is charged with second-degree murder, but State Attorney Monique Worrell said the charges could escalate depending on the evidence.
Parker disappeared in 2011 after an appearance on “The People’s Court.”
She was last known to be alive when she was dropping off her twin children at Smith’s condo near Goldenrod Road and Lee Vista Boulevard in Orlando.
Parker’s vehicle was found on Nov. 18, 2011, in an Orlando parking lot, and sheriff’s divers discovered her iPhone under an Orange County bridge in December 2011.
Her body has not been found.
A judge has yet to respond to the request to make Smith’s arrest report public.
