CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (WINK) — The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the owner of an abandoned Jon boat found in Lemon Bay.
The silver boat with black trim was discovered near Thorton Key and Stump Pass. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the vessel to come forward.
The sheriff’s office said it will remove the boat from the water after 21 days if no one claims it. That deadline falls on November 7.
