Florida’s general election is less than a month away, and early voting is already underway in several South Florida counties.
Early voting started on Monday, Oct. 19, in Miami-Dade County. Below is a list of key dates, as well as locations where you can drop off your ballot.
When is Florida’s 2026 general election?
Florida’s general election will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 3. The mandatory early voting period runs from Oct. 24 to Oct. 31.
The deadline to register to vote in the general election was Oct. 5.
Do you need an ID to vote early in Florida?
Whether you’re voting early or on election day, you must bring a valid photo ID with a signature.
A full list of accepted IDs is available via the Florida Division of Elections.
Miami-Dade County early voting dates, locations
Early voting for the 2026 Florida general election in Miami-Dade County will begin on Oct. 19 and will last through Nov. 1, according to the county’s website. Early voting will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily.
