TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Heart disease and chronic kidney disease are two of the quietest, most devastating health crises facing our families today, but what many people don’t realize is that these two are deeply, dangerously linked.
To break down this critical connection and show us how we can protect ourselves, Bethel Missionary Baptist Church’s Medical Mobile Unit is inviting the public to a free upcoming educational workshop called ‘Collaborative Care: Cardiovascular Disease and Chronic Kidney Disease Together.”
Dr. Daryl Crenshaw and Dr. Christopher Daniels joined our Ava Van Valen in the studio on Wednesday to discuss the upcoming health fair.
‘Collaborative Care: Cardiovascular Disease and Chronic Kidney Disease Together’ will be next Saturday, Oct. 31, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Bethel Family Life Center.
