Visitors attending the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will be able to arrive by private helicopter or take a scenic flight over South Florida, with special event tours advertised at $600 per flight.
Wave Helicopters has been named the helicopter partner for the event, which takes place from October 28 through November 1, 2026.
The service will introduce helicopter access to an on-site landing zone, providing an alternative arrival option for visitors attending one of the world’s major international yacht shows.
Private Helicopter Transfers to Fort Lauderdale Boat Show
Wave Helicopters, working with Wings Air Helicopters, will provide private helicopter charter services connecting the event with selected South Florida airports and departure locations.
Potential departure points include Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport and Naples Airport.
Private charters can also be arranged from other locations, subject to availability and operational requirements.
Unlike conventional airport transfers, the helicopter service will bring passengers directly to the show’s dedicated landing area.
Charter transfer prices have not been published as fixed fares and must be requested individually.
Scenic Helicopter Tours Cost $600 Per Flight
Visitors looking for an aerial sightseeing experience can book a 10-minute private helicopter tour over Fort Lauderdale.
The flights will operate aboard an Airbus AS350/H125 helicopter carrying up to five passengers.
Wave is advertising a special event rate of $600 per private flight, equivalent to $120 per person when five passengers share the cost.
The price is per aircraft rather than per passenger, and the operator has not established that the event rate represents a discount against its ordinary selling prices.
Passengers will be able to view Fort Lauderdale’s beaches, waterways, marinas and yacht-filled waterfront from the air.
