WINTER PARK, Fla. — International food, live music and family activities will come together Saturday at the inaugural Winter Park International Food & Music Festival.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 24 at Calvary Orlando, 1199 Clay St. Admission is free, with food and merchandise available for purchase.
Calvary International Language School is presenting the festival to support its English-language education programs for adult learners in Central Florida.
Food, performances and a Kids Zone
Participating food vendors include Tipiks, serving Colombian empanadas; Paula’s Jamaican Cuisine; The Fry Shoppe; La Macarena Bakery; Nikki Elouise Bakery; and Little Marco’s Italian Ice.
Organizers also plan live music and cultural performances throughout the day, a marketplace featuring local artisans and small businesses, and a dedicated Kids Zone.
“Our students come from all over the world, and each brings a story, traditions and a culture worth celebrating,” said Maria Kringel, co-lead pastor of Calvary Orlando.
Festival supports adult language education
Sponsorships, vendor participation fees and designated donations will benefit the language school, a ministry of Calvary Orlando.
The school helps adults develop English-language skills and strengthen communication for personal and professional opportunities.
