The fashionista and self-proclaimed “hostess who does the mostess” is bringing fashion creatives together, challenging expectations and showing Jacksonville what the fashion scene can become.
“I want to be the person to start that standard,” Makeeta said. “I want to be the person to usher that in, to get everyone on that same wave again. That gives us that seat at the table where Jacksonville can be considered a fashion house city.”
