ESTERO, Fla. (WINK) — Whataburger opened its second Southwest Florida location in Estero.
The new restaurant is in the former Pollo Tropical building off U.S. 41 across the street from Coconut Point. Doors opened to customers at 11 a.m. following a 10:30 a.m. ceremony.
Just like the first location, customers came ready to eat. One customer wanted a taste so badly she showed up for a bite right after her cataract surgery.
The Estero location offers dine-in and drive-thru service from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Unlike the South Fort Myers location, it does not operate 24 hours.
