Superyachts Take Centre Stage
At FLIBS 2026, Pier Sixty-Six will once again provide a setting for some of the show’s most significant vessels. Among the yachts listed for the event is DRAAK, the 93-metre Oceanco-built explorer and companion vessel to LEVIATHAN, designed to support scientific research and marine exploration.
Other notable yachts on the Pier Sixty-Six line-up include MYSTIQUE, a 46.6-metre Feadship, alongside HEEUS, the 44-metre explorer yacht delivered by Bering Yachts in 2023. The wider display brings together large brokerage yachts and vessels from leading international builders, offering visitors a closer look at the breadth of the modern superyacht market.
The location also connects with Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six South, where some of the largest yachts at the show are displayed alongside tenders, water toys and other elements of the superyacht lifestyle.
Where the Industry Meets
Pier Sixty-Six’s significance extends beyond its berths. The destination has increasingly become a base for major names in yacht building, bringing clients and industry professionals closer to the companies behind some of the world’s most ambitious vessels.
Among them is Lürssen Americas, whose Pier Sixty-Six office supports new-build projects, refit and yacht management. Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has also established its Americas headquarters at the development, strengthening its presence in one of the region’s most important markets. Their presence reflects the marina’s growing role as a year-round hub for yacht owners, prospective clients and industry decision-makers.
Beyond the Docks
Visiting yachts from 40 to 400 feet can find a berth at Pier Sixty-Six, where 164 deep-water slips and roughly 5,000 linear feet of dockage are on offer. Its position by Port Everglades, with the Atlantic within easy reach, makes it a convenient base, and on-site concierge and shore-side services take care of the everyday logistics of life aboard.
Away from the water, the resort brings together restaurants, pools, wellness facilities and the iconic Pier Top, creating a destination in which business and leisure naturally intersect.
As FLIBS returns from 28 October to 1 November 2026, Pier Sixty-Six stands as more than a familiar stop on the show circuit. It represents Fort Lauderdale’s continuing evolution as a global yachting hub, where landmark hospitality, world-class vessels and the businesses shaping the industry converge.
