At least 12 people, including children, were hurt in a mass shooting outside Florida A&M University’s football stadium.

NBC reports 11 of the 12 were shot near Bragg Memorial Stadium on Saturday, which featured homecoming celebrations and a college football game. The Tallahassee Police Department said six of the victims were under 18 years old; the youngest was 11.

Three victims had serious injuries, including a minor, police said. The others were listed in stable condition.

ABC reports the one person who was injured but not from a gunshot wound was “a grandmother of one of the victims,” according to Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell. She was injured fleeing from the scene, Revell said.

No arrests have been made.

Revell said a preliminary investigation points to one shooter. The shooting allegedly began after an altercation, which he described as “an isolated incident between two or three individuals.”

“Our priority is to determine what happened and why it happened, and to bring the people that are responsible for this to justice,” Revell said.

According to NBC, the shooting began around 8 p.m. at an intersection adjacent to Bragg Memorial Stadium. The FAMU Rattlers football team hosted the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions in a homecoming game earlier Saturday.

“Our hearts are with the victims and everyone affected by tonight’s incident on Perry Street,” Florida A&M University said in a statement late Saturday night. “While the campus remains safe, individuals are encouraged to avoid the area to allow law enforcement to conduct its investigation.”
