Aaron Ashby has been invincible coming out of the Milwaukee Brewers‘ bullpen throughout the 2026 postseason. Opposing batters have struggled to do much against the left hander, whose outstanding performances have made him a major weapon for the Brewers in their championship run.

Although Milwaukee managed to clinch the championship with a 4-1 victory over Tampa Bay in the fifth game, Aaron Ashby’s postseason contributions were a significant factor in getting the Brewers to that point. The left hander consistently delivered when called upon, helping his team build the momentum it needed to finish the job and become World Series champions.

Ashby made nine appearances across Milwaukee’s 13 postseason games and dominated every time he took the mound. Over 18 innings, he surrendered only five hits and three walks while recording 20 strikeouts. Even more impressive, the left hander never allowed an opposing player to score, finishing the 2026 MLB postseason with a spotless 0.00 ERA, according to FOX Sports MLB.

The 28-year-old had firmly established himself as the go to option in Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy’s bullpen. Had Trevor Megill given up another hit and run in the ninth inning, Murphy likely would have turned to Ashby to secure the final outs and put away Tampa Bay.

Throughout the year, Ashby proved he could handle high pressure situations, whether Milwaukee needed him to stop an opposing rally or hold onto a lead. He took the mound 75 times during the regular season, logging 89.1 innings and collecting 13 victories despite starting only once. The left hander also posted a 3.12 ERA, capping off a strong campaign before his postseason dominance.

Milwaukee selected Ashby in the fourth round of the 2018 MLB Draft, and the homegrown pitcher eventually found his calling in the bullpen after struggling to secure a permanent spot in the starting rotation. His transformation into a dependable relief weapon has paid off in a big way.

While the entire roster contributed to the Brewers’ championship victory, Ashby stood out by consistently delivering whenever Milwaukee needed him most.
