ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS12) — The Electric Daisy Carnival is coming back to Central Florida next weekend, and two of its three days are already sold out.
EDC Orlando returns to Tinker Field Friday, Nov. 6, through Sunday, Nov. 8, for its 15th edition. The organizer, Insomniac, says more than 100 artists will play across five stages. The headliners include David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Kaskade, Hardwell, Alesso, Mau P, SLANDER and Alan Walker.
The festival’s official lineup splits the big names across the weekend. Guetta, Afrojack, Mau P and Alesso play Friday. Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Alison Wonderland and Alan Walker are set for Saturday. Garrix, Hardwell, Alok, Meduza and SLANDER close out the festival Sunday. Set times had not been released as of Thursday.
The lineup goes well beyond mainstage EDM. House fans can catch Chris Lorenzo, Dennis Cruz and Franky Rizardo. Techno acts include Klangkuenstler, I Hate Models, Nico Moreno and a joint set from Boys Noize and Brutalismus 3000 on Sunday. Bass and dubstep fans will find Wooli, Levity, Ray Volpe and ATLiens. Factory 93, Bassrush and Insomniac Records will each take over a stage.
Prospa, who was originally scheduled to perform with Josh Baker Friday night, announced on Instagram that they will no longer perform. They stated they need time to “rest and recharge” but told fans they are “working hard to minimize any disruption to shows next year”.

Several artists are booked for sunset sets. They include Alesso on Friday, Alan Walker on Saturday, and SLANDER on Sunday. San Holo will play what the festival calls a Wholesome Riddim Set on Sunday.
This year’s theme, kineticJOURNEY, carries over from the 30th anniversary of EDC Las Vegas earlier this year.
New this year is Hotel EDC Orlando, the first East Coast version of the festival’s resort experience. It runs Nov. 6 through Nov. 9 at Margaritaville Resort Orlando. Insomniac says guests will get EDC-themed rooms, an on-site concierge, and access to daytime parties and afterparties.
Anyone hoping to go only on Friday or Saturday is out of luck. As of Thursday, the festival’s official ticket site listed every single-day Friday and Saturday pass as sold out. Three-day passes and Sunday tickets were still available. General admission is 18 and up, and VIP is 21 and up.
Gates are open from 1 p.m. to midnight each day. Everyone needs a valid photo ID with a date of birth, and digital IDs won’t be accepted. Once you leave, you can’t come back in that day. Clear bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches are allowed.
The festival’s travel guide lists shuttles, parking, and Brightline. For anyone driving up from South Florida, Brightline runs from West Palm Beach to Orlando International Airport.
The official lineup ends with one more name: “the most important headliner of all,” you.
