LEE COUNTY, Fla. —
A man was arrested after the Florida Highway Patrol says he drove away from troopers and had to be stopped with a PIT maneuver.
FHP says that troopers attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Alexis Lionel Reyes, 27, at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday. This was on SR-82 and Ortiz Avenue.
Troopers say that Reyes fled from the stop, and, a pursuit ensued. The vehicle was eventually stopped with a PIT maneuver, and Reyes was arrested.
Reyes faces charges of fleeing, DUI with damage to property, refusal to provide a DUI sample, and driving with a permanently revoked license.
