Josh Hart apparently no longer wants to be in a Miami state of mind. The basketball star’s Magic City home is back on the market.
The New York Knicks guard and his wife Shannon (neé Phillips) listed the five-bedroom house late last year for $5.995 million, lowered the price, then took it out of play. The NYC based couple, both 31, bought the new place in 2022 for around $4.75M. The cost now stands at $5.699M.
Apparently, the parents of 3-year-old twin boys are serious about selling again. Hart told the Wall Street Journal they purchased the house because they spent time in the 305 during the off season. But the baller’s schedule has “intensified,” thanks to the Knicks winning the NBA championships, and they haven’t had time to travel down south.
But Hart isn’t done with us yet. We may see him in our neck of the woods once retirement is in the cards.
“We will be back,” the Maryland native told the WSJ. “We loved the location.”
(We’ll also see the power player on the court at the Kaseya Center a few miles away in downtown when his team takes on the Miami Heat Dec. 12).
Interested in laying your head where a pro athlete did? Because this estate is quite something. Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac in Pinecrest’s Coconut Palm Estates, the five-bedroom, five-bathroom residence spans 5,728 square feet.
As per a press release, this two-level gem features “an open floor plan with generous living and dining spaces, a beautifully appointed kitchen with designer appliances, a walk-in pantry and a breakfast nook.”
Upstairs, the primary suite has a big plus — its own (covered) balcony overlooking the lush, tropical surroundings.
Outside, the situation is just as styling. You’ve got a resort-style swimming pool, summer kitchen and private putting green. Incredibly, no court for hoops, though.
Michael Martinez of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty has the listing. He shared a few pictures on Instagram, calling the sleek, modern home “exceptional.”
