Spooky skies for Halloween weekend for Tallahassee, the Big Bend and South Georgia πŸŽƒ

  • October 30, 2026

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Clouds slowly thicken heading into Halloween weekend, making the skies look a little spooky this weekend.

Increasing clouds on Friday after a really nice start to the day. A light breeze continues through the evening, tapering off a little overnight.

For Friday night football, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies and a northeast breeze of 8 to 18 mph. Only a stray shower. Otherwise, dry across the region.

Halloween Showers

Mostly cloudy on Saturday with a few showers developing, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Most of the rain will be light and hit-or-miss. I expect many folks to remain dry for MOST of your Halloween. Just be prepared for a quick shower around dinner and trick-or-treat time. Highs in the upper 70s and low 80s. Turning breezy in the afternoon with occasional gusts between 15 and 20 mph.

Cloudy end to the weekend

Showers and mostly cloudy skies hang on to wrap up your Halloween weekend. It may look like rain a lot of the day, but the sun should occasionally break out. Definitely will not be an all-day rain. Totals will be under 0.50β€³.

Another chance of rain midweek

Showers should be limited on Monday and Tuesday. Still some clouds around. However, we should break into a little more sun to start next week.

By midweek, another good chance of showers and storms between Wednesday and Thursday. Highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Wednesday’s storm systems may bring a few stronger storms. Something to keep an eye on over the next few days as the forecast becomes clearer.
