The outcome of Sunday’s AFC South matchup seemed extremely clear by the end of the first quarter, after Jacksonville took an early 7-0 lead via a 12-yard Brian Thomas Jr. reception.

Before Indianapolis could blink, it seemed that the score was already out of reach, with explosive scores from Nate Boerkircher and Bhayshul Tuten. However, an Indianapolis opportunity to create a two scores matchup was quickly extinguished as Ray Lane returned the redzone interception 92 yards for a touchdown, confirming the rout.

QB Trevor Lawrence ended the half 7/11 for 138 yards and two touchdowns (146.8 passer rating), while RB Bhayshul Tuten had 13 carries for 94 yards and a touchdown.

Following the half, Chris Rodriguez joined in on the fun with a 28 yd touchdown run to extend the third quarter lead to 35-0.

The Jacksonville defense took advantage of the positive game script, collecting 4.5 sacks, a fumble recovery, and two interceptions (including the previously mentioned pick six).
