For the first time, Seminole Science Charter School is accepting applications through 11th grade after opening its high school expansion in August, with plans to add 12th grade in 2028.
Prior to adding these higher academic levels, Niche ranked the campus as one of the top K-8 charter schools in Florida.
OSS students are given the tools to excel in higher education and their chosen profession through advanced coursework and extracurricular activities, including:
• PLTW (Project Lead the Way) Engineering and Biomedical Sciences classes
• Cybersecurity Magnet program
• Nationally recognized competition teams, such as Science Olympiad and VEX Robotics
• Character Education curriculum
• Athletics teams, like volleyball, basketball and soccer
“Over 18 years, thousands of students have walked our halls and benefited from an innovative and hands-on education that offers them the knowledge and confidence to flourish throughout
their life,” said Yunus Aksu, CEO of Orlando Science Schools. “As we look ahead to 2027, we’re excited to welcome more members of our community into the OSS family so we can walk this journey to success together.”
A virtual drawing will be held on Feb. 12. Those who are not selected will be added to a waitlist for the chance to enroll at a later date, availability permitting.
