Chenenne Gonzalez, the fair’s founder, joins WESH 2 to share how families can connect with resources and tools to find the right school for children with unique abilities on Saturday, Nov. 7.
Families searching for schools for children with unique abilities can find resources and options at the Unique Abilities School Fair on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026.
The free event will be held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the University of Central Florida Downtown Campus in Orlando.
Chenenne Gonzalez, the event and nonprofit founder, said she was inspired to create the fair after her own experience searching for a school for her son.
Gonzalez explained the fair’s mission, noting her belief that every child should have an environment where they can thrive, and every parent deserves an easy way to find out what’s out there.
Families will have the opportunity to meet more than 20 schools and providers serving students with unique learning needs.
Gonzalez also highlighted a tool she developed to assist families beyond the event.
TeaganAI, a free school-matching platform and tool, allows families to continue navigating their options.
Families can register for the fair online.
