NEW YORK- JetBlue Airways (B6), headquartered in New York City, has announced a new year-round nonstop service between Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) and Orlando International Airport (MCO).
Starting March 26, 2026, this route will expand JetBlue’s strong presence in Upstate New York while offering travelers more convenient options to reach Central Florida’s popular destinations.
To celebrate the launch, the airline is offering special introductory fares starting at $49 one way, available exclusively on JetBlue’s Official Website. The service will operate five times a week, connecting Western New York residents with Orlando’s sunshine, world-class theme parks, and vacation attractions.

JetBlue New Nonstop Flights
JetBlue’s new Rochester–Orlando service reinforces its long-term commitment to Upstate New York, a region the airline has proudly served since 2000.
This addition means JetBlue now connects eight airports across the Empire State with Orlando, more than any other carrier, deepening its role as New York’s Hometown Airline®.
According to Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s Vice President of Network Planning and Airline Partnerships, the new route reflects customer demand for affordable, direct flights between Western New York and Florida.
“Orlando remains one of the top leisure destinations for Upstate travelers, and this new connection brings our award-winning service to even more customers,” Jehn stated.

Regional Growth and Accessibility
The launch also brings economic benefits to the Rochester–Finger Lakes region. U.S. Senator Charles Schumer praised the new route, noting that improved connectivity between Rochester (ROC) and Orlando (MCO) will stimulate local tourism and business travel.
He added that additional air service options help strengthen the region’s ties to major leisure and business markets across the United States.
By introducing this route, JetBlue continues to enhance access for smaller markets, ensuring that travelers from Upstate New York can reach major vacation hubs without connecting flights. The airline can serve this route with Airbus A320s.
The initiative aligns with JetBlue’s strategy to expand affordable and reliable air travel options beyond large metropolitan centers.
