Amid food insecurity in Central Florida, Orlando City and Orlando Pride announced on Wednesday that they’re teaming up with the Ruckus supporters group to host a community food drive. The drive begins Wednesday, Nov. 12, and will run through Nov. 26. The days on which items can be donated are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fans and community members are encouraged to donate shelf-stable and nonperishable food items. Donations can be dropped off at the Gate D lobby at Inter&Co Stadium or the team’s front office, also located at the stadium. All collected items will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank, which will distribute those items to families in need. Orlando City and Pride will also host their 10th annual turkey distribution on Nov. 24, which will run from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Inter&Co Stadium.
