I WAS JUST GOING TO SAY AT FIRST, YEAH. SO PEOPLE GOING TO THE EVENT TONIGHT, WHAT SHOULD THEY HAVE ON? WHAT SHOULD THEY WEAR? I’M STILL SAYING LONG SLEEVES RIGHT. IT’S NICE TO SEE US BOUNCING BACK TO OUR SEASONAL AVERAGES. IT IS GOING TO TAKE SOME TIME. SO THIS WEEKEND WE CAN EXPECT FOR THOSE LOWS TO BOTTOM OUT IN THE 50S. IT’S NICE OUTDOORS RIGHT NOW THOUGH, WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER 70S AND YOU COULDN’T ASK FOR A BETTER FORECAST FOR THE LAUNCH. AS FAR AS THE WEATHER IS CONCERNED. SO SWINGING OUT TO THE KENNEDY SPACE CENTER RIGHT NOW, TEMPERATURES ALL ACROSS OUR COASTLINE. THOSE ARE BACK IN THE LOWER 70S. NOT A CLOUD IN SIGHT. SO WEATHER WISE, THIS LAUNCH SHOULD BE GREEN TO GO. BUT AS WE WERE REFERENCING JUST A MOMENT AGO, WE’VE SEEN QUITE THE AMOUNT OF SOLAR ACTIVITY THAT DID CREATE THE AURORA BOREALIS LIGHTS THAT WE SAW IN NORTHERN FLORIDA, THAT DAZZLING DISPLAY. RIGHT? BUT IT ALSO DOES CREATE THESE GEOMAGNETIC STORMS, WHICH COULD IMPACT GPS TRACKING AND COULD IMPACT OUR RANGE FINDERS ON THESE TYPES OF MISSIONS HERE. SO ALTHOUGH THE PROBABILITY FOR NO WEATHER RESTRICTIONS HERE ON EARTH IS 95%, WE STILL HAVE A LOT OF SOLAR ACTIVITY TO GET THROUGH BEFORE THIS LAUNCHES. DEEMED PERFECTLY GREEN TO GO TEMPERATURE WISE THOUGH, ACROSS CENTRAL FLORIDA, NO MATTER WHERE YOU LOOK, YOU’RE GOING TO FIND THESE CURRENT TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW 70S, AND WE’RE GOING TO RISE TO THE MID 70S BEFORE YOUR AFTERNOON IS SAID AND DONE. YOU DO HAVE A SLIGHT BREEZE COMING IN FROM THE NORTH. THAT’S WHAT’S KEEPING US JUST A HAIR BELOW OUR SEASONAL AVERAGE THIS AFTERNOON. TYPICALLY WHEN YOU HAVE THESE NORTHERLY WINDS, YOU EXPECT THOSE COOLER TEMPERATURES. AND WE DEFINITELY SAW THAT EARLIER TO KICK OFF THE WORK WEEK AFTER THE PASSAGE OF OUR COLD FRONT THAT SEASON, SHIFTING COLD FRONT. BUT NOW UNDER THIS BIG OLD H RIGHT HERE, WHICH STANDS FOR HIGH PRESSURE, WE ARE PERFECTLY CLEAR SO THAT SUNLIGHT IS WARMING US UP PRETTY NICELY THROUGHOUT THE REST OF YOUR AFTERNOON. AND WITH CLEAR SKIES, WE’VE GOT NO RAIN ON OUR DOPPLER RADAR, SO WE ARE CONSISTENTLY DRY HERE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON SHOULD RANGE ANYWHERE BETWEEN 72 AND 75 DEGREES. WE’RE GOING TO KEEP THAT NORTHERLY WIND ON WHAT’S GOING TO BE A VERY PLEASANT THURSDAY AFTERNOON SUNSET. RIGHT AROUND FIVE 3532, TO BE EXACT. AND AFTER SUNSET WILL BE COOLING OFF PRETTY QUICKLY. IT’S CALLED RADIATIONAL COOLING. WHEN YOU HAVE THAT LAYER OF CLOUDS OVER YOU, THAT KIND OF ACT AS A BLANKET OVER THE COURSE OF THE EVENING, RIGHT? KEEPING YOU NICE AND INSULATED AND A LITTLE BIT WARM. BUT BY 9:00 WE ARE JUST A BIT CHILLY, 56 DEGREES THERE AND THEN WILL EVENTUALLY DROP INTO THE 40S AND 50S AS WE WAKE UP ON FRIDAY MORNING. SO COOLER TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE BACK IN STORE FOR US HERE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. BUT AS WE CONTINUE ACROSS THE REST OF YOUR WORKWEEK AND INTO THE WEEKEND, THIS COLD FRONT IS GOING TO TRY ITS BEST TO BRUSH UP ON US. WHAT IT’S GOING TO DO IS JUST REINFORCE THESE DRY CONDITIONS. BUT OVER THE COURSE OF THE WEEKEND, AS WE STAY DRY AND CLEAR, TEMPERATURES WILL BE WARMING QUITE NICELY. 79 FOR YOUR HIGH ON SATURDAY WILL FOLLOW THAT WITH 80 DEGREE TEMPERATURES ON SUNDAY. AND IT’S QUITE THE ROLLER COASTER RIDE HERE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. THIS LAST TUESDAY. WE WOKE UP TO LOWS IN THE MID 30S, 36 DEGREES, BUT BY SUNDAY YOUR HIGHS WILL BE BACK IN THE 80S. SO A 44 DEGREE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE OVER THE COURSE OF THE WEEK. AND AS WE CONTINUE ACROSS YOUR WEEKEND INTO THE START OF THE WORKWEEK, TEMPERATURES JUST KEEP RISING HIGHER AND HIGHER. EXPECT T
