The 53rd Annual Fort Myers Boat Show is making waves in downtown Fort Myers this weekend, offering a nautical paradise for boat lovers. With hundreds of boats on display, live music, and activities for the whole family, the event promises to be a memorable experience.

Mike Reader from Cape Coral shared his enthusiasm for the waterfront atmosphere and the variety of boat manufacturers present.

“Waterfront, you got the restaurants you got a great variety of boat manufacturers out of here, it’s a win-win-win,” said Reader.

The show features boats of every size and style, from sleek jet skis to luxurious yachts. Visitors like Rosemarie Field from Georgia are excited to explore.

“We just love looking at all the different boats and I love the yachts,” said Field.

Reader also commented on the appeal of discovering new boats.

“There is always something new out here and it’s a beautiful day and can go check out the boats and when you got a boat you’re always thinking what’s the next boat look like,” said Reader.

This year’s event is focused on providing an unforgettable experience beyond just boat shopping. Attendees can enjoy live music, food trucks, seminars, and even a new riverside pub and grill.

Kyle Good, the Boat Show Manager, highlighted some of the attractions.

“We’ve got live music, as you can kind of see in here in the background. We’ve got a food truck. We have our fishing and boating seminars,” said Good.

There is something for every kind of boater, from pontoons and fishing boats to center consoles. John McDonough, a visitor, expressed his excitement to see what’s new.

“Going downtown on a beautiful day but in addition, I want to see if there is anything new that I don’t know about boats,” said McDonough.

The Fort Myers Boat Show runs until Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the maritime festivities.Â
