ORLANDO, Fla. – After a week that started with record cold, Central Floridians are finally getting a chance to thaw out just in time for the weekend.
Temperatures will feel much better for your Friday, with highs in the low to mid-70s.
If you’re heading to the beach with this warmer weather, be aware because there’s a moderate rip current risk.

Saturday-Thursday
A ridge of high pressure settles over the area Saturday, keeping winds on the lighter side.
Another weak front tries to move in on Monday, but it’s not expected to bring rain and should fall apart over Central or South Florida by Tuesday.
Temperatures & Fog
Highs climb into the upper 70s and low 80s this weekend.
Early next week, many inland spots will reach the low to mid-80s, with coastal areas hovering near 80.
Dewpoints are slowly rising, too, which means patchy late-night and early-morning fog is possible into next week.
